I am a graduate student at the University of Tokyo, Japan. I'm interested in many topics in mineral chemistry, such as mineral dissolution, crystal growth and high-pressure experiments. For the last year or two, I have constructed Scanning Near-field Optical Microscopy (SNOM) which can obtain spectroscopic and topographic information simultaneously and can observe spectroscopic information at high spatial resolution (<300 nm). Using SNOM, I investigated the stress distribution on the surface of high-pressure minerals.

I like classical music very much, and recently I have been hooked on a Romanian conductor, Sergiu Celibidache.

I conducted many classical music. Some of them are inspired from Celibidache.
