Approx. 1 million? (from Google). Stellertony the Bookcrosser 04:59, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)

  • Tripoli says 1 million, is that way too simple? -- fiveless 14:13, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)

On second thoughts, I realised this was referring to Tripoli in Greece. I did this the maths way.

On Arcadia, [Tripoli] currently covers about 18% of the entire peninsula

  • 18% * 4,419 km²
    • = 795.42 km²

The population density is 23.09/km²

  • 23.09 inh/km² * 795.42 km²
    • Approx 18,366 inhabitants -- fiveless 14:40, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)

About 2500-3000, because the area of Tripoli is a quarter of the province and I correlated that with population: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcadia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peloponnesos EuropracBHIT 02:34, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC).

OK, since it says on the main page:

"We're playing on a game field consisting of all Information in English on Wikipedia, including its sister and meta projects."

I'm going to take this to mean it's not cheating to use wiktionary, where we learn from wiktionary:Arcadia, that Tripoli has a population of over 22,000. - 17:13, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC) Lee (talk)

22,000 is correct. Using wiktionary is fair game, and that is were I found this answer too. Eugene van der Pijll 02:00, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
